How to Install dcmtk software package in Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak)

dcmtk software package provides OFFIS DICOM toolkit command line utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dcmtk

dcmtk is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dcmtk package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dcmtk *

You will get with dcmtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
